What is fasting
1. Fasting is going without food for a period of time with the purpose seeking God.
2. A dramatic expression of our hunger and desperation for God.
3. Humbling of the flesh so that the spirit is liberated to encounter God. Gal5:17

WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO PRAY AND FAST :

A. We pray and fast to enforce the will, plan and counsel of God of the father on earth. (Esther4:16 Matt 6:9-10, 1 John 5:14-15, Matt 6:16

B. We pray and fast to service and strengthen our relationship with our father GOD (Matt 6:9 , Mark 2:20  

C. We pray and fast to handle restless Satan activities on earth. (Matt 6:11,13, Matt13:24-25 Matthew 26:41 galatians 5:17  

D. We pray and fast to access our inheritance and promises from God. (Matt 6:11, Dan 9:13 

E. We pray to keep ourselves spiritual and in close proximity with God. (James 4:6 

F. We pray to keep in touch with signals and transmissions from heaven consistently (Hab 2:1-2,Lk 3:21-22,  Luke9:29,35)

G. We pray to avoid fainting or giving up in the journey of life . ( Lk 18:1, Gal 6:9)
