Satan wants to manipulate everything, and understanding how to prevail in prayer for deliverance becomes an important area we have to look at.
Jeremiah 1:5 -Jeremiah knew his calling (destiny) and walked in it.
The destiny of every child of God is predetermined. the predetermined destiny must be known and walked in for one to say he or she has fulfilled destiny. 2 Tim 4:7-8
Apostle Paul made us know that in his calling he fought and kept the faith.
In keeping his faith, fasting and prayers were not left out.
Why do I need deliverance?
1. I need deliverance for things to work for me this year. Luke 4:18
Without deliverance, things will not work.
Not walking in the ways of the Lord puts believers in bondage.
To prevail we must :
a. Confess our sins
b. Forsake the very thing that we been forgiven of
2. We also need deliverance to change position & placement this year.
Proverbs 4:18 (the path of the just is not stagnant).
Lack of knowledge keeps us in bondage (ignorance of the law is no excuse )
Prayer for grace to access revelation in word is very important.
3. We need deliverance to walk freely this year John 8:36
Many Christians are not in Nsawam but are not free. We have to engage the spirit to walk soberly (1 Peter 5:8 )
