The word of God is the most important asset of a believer
It is the source of our new birth. 1Pet1:23 john 3:5
It is the source of our growth and maturity. Acts20:32
To make the most of the word we must
1. Read or hear it. Rom10:17 . Hearing and reading brings us to the knowledge of the word. It presents to us relevant facts required for our journey in God.
2. Study . 2Tim2:15 . Study is the process that leads to understanding of God's word. Study brings us to the original intent of the word. It exposes the limits, exceptions and range of meaning of the words being heard.
a. Study exposes the relationships between the facts clean from the word. isaiah 28:10
3. Meditation. Meditation is the process of integrating the word of God into your personal framework of thinking. Upgrading the algorithm of your thought processes. Josh1:7-8 psalm 119:97 psalm 119:98
a. Meditation is the process of assimilating the word of God into your personal beliefs, thinking emotions and decision making. psalm 119:15 Ps119:98
4. Practice, profession. This involves planning and programming your life on the word of God. It's the process that involves discipline till the word becomes a part of you. hebrews 10:23 1 Corinthians 9:27
5. Preaching and teaching. to end of creating a society with the culture of heaven . Mark 16:15 Hebrews 5:12
