1. REDEMPTION HAS MADE EVERY BELIEVER A PARTAKER OF SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS
Scripture: Ephesians 1:3
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”
By redemption, every believer has access to the spiritual blessings that are available in Christ. These blessings include our spiritual inheritance, divine favour, wisdom, grace, and the resources God provides for the fulfilment of His purpose.
Proverbs 10:22 says, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

2. PROSPERITY IS ENTRUSTED BY GOD FOR A PURPOSE
Scripture: Luke 16:11
“If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”
God does not merely want to bless us; He also wants to find us faithful with what
3. YOU MUST UNDERSTAND WHY GOD PROSPERS YOU
Matthew 13:23;
so that His work can advance, your attitude towards wealth changes.
God wants His people to understand the purpose of His blessings.

HOW DO I PARTAKE IN THIS PROSPERITY MOVEMENT IN THE CHURCH?
1. Walk in the Covenant
Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:18

A. Be a giver in the Kingdom generally
Scriptures: Genesis 8:22; Philippians 4:15–19

B. Be a giver towards Kingdom projects
Scripture: 1 Chronicles 29:1–8

2. Be a Tireless Worker
Scriptures: Proverbs 10:4; Proverbs 12:24; Proverbs 13:4.
God expects us to work faithfully with the abilities and opportunities He gives us.
Prayer is important, but prayer should not become an excuse for idleness. Faith must be accompanied by responsible action.

3. Always Be Led by the Spirit
Scriptures: Genesis 12:1–3; Genesis 13:2; Isaiah 48:17–18, 21

WHY SHOULD I POSITION MYSELF FOR GOD TO PROSPER ME?
1. To Reduce the Vulnerability Associated with Poverty
Proverbs 10:15
2. To Have Greater Financial Independence and Capacity to Help Others
Proverbs 22:7
“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
3. To Have the Resources to Put Wisdom into Action Ecclesiastes 9:16
“Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.”
Ecclesiastes 9:16 teaches that wisdom is superior to strength, yet people may disregard the wisdom of someone who is poor.
This reveals an unfortunate reality about human society: people sometimes judge others by their financial position rather than by the value of their ideas.

4. To Increase Our Capacity to Influence Society for Good
Ecclesiastes 9:16 also highlights how a poor person's words may be disregarded.
Although money does not guarantee influence, financial resources can help amplify a good cause, support education, establish useful initiatives, and make the work of the Church more effective.

WHAT ARE THE FRINGE BENEFITS BESIDES FINANCIAL PROSPERITY?
1. It Can Help Secure a Godly Legacy for Future Generations
Psalm 112:1–9
Psalm 112 describes the blessings associated with the person who fears the Lord and delights in His commandments. It speaks of righteousness, generosity, stability, and a legacy that endures.

2. It Can Help Us Care for Our Health and Well-being
Scripture: Psalm 41:1–3
Financial stability can also help people access nutritious food, suitable housing, medical care, and other practical needs that contribute to well-being.

3. God Prunes Us So That We Can Bear More Fruit
Scripture: John 15:2
“Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
John 15:2 is primarily about spiritual fruitfulness, not financial prosperity or physical health. Jesus teaches that the Father prunes fruitful branches so that they can bear more fruit.
In the context of building the Church, this reminds us that material resources alone are not enough. God desires believers whose lives demonstrate spiritual maturity, obedience, love, and fruitful service.
Prosperity must therefore be accompanied by spiritual growth and a life that honours God.
