Real prosperity isn’t about flexing—it's about function.
Example of Fathers of faith that we can see this:
1.Abraham — Prosperity For Covenant Expansion (Genesis 12–24)Abraham
Abraham wasn’t rich to flex — he was rich to fulfill a mandate.
2. Joseph — Prosperity To Preserve God’s People (Genesis 41–47)
Joseph went from prison to prime minister, but the wealth and resources he controlled weren’t for ego.
3. David — Prosperity To Build God’s House (1 Chronicles 29:2–5)
David didn’t use his wealth for self-promotion; he used it to fund the temple.
He said:
4. Solomon — Prosperity To Establish a Worship Nation (1 Kings 3–10)
Prosperity becomes pointless when it loses its worship assignment.
Dorcas (Tabitha) — Prosperity To Serve the Poor (Acts 9:36–41)
The Early Church — Prosperity To Strengthen the Body (Acts 4:32–35)
Nobody lacked — because everybody shared.
Kingdom Stewardship: The Heart God Trusts With Resources
Before God puts wealth in your hand, He checks what’s in your heart.
Three heart checks:
1. Am I using what God gives to honour God first?
2. Am I moved by Kingdom responsibility—not pressure?
3. Does God see me as someone He can trust with more?
Stewardship = handling God’s things God’s way.
“If God can’t trust you with little, you block the flow of the much.”
III. Key Pillars of Kingdom Stewardship
1. Giving to Build the Church
This is where divine order begins.

2. Giving to Your Parents
Scriptural weight:
• Deut 5:16 – Honour your father and mother… that your days may be long.
• 1 Tim 5:8 – Provide for your household.
3. Giving to Your Man of God
This is not manipulation; it's spiritual protocol.
Biblical backing:
• Gal 6:6 – Share all good things with your instructor.
• 2 Kings 4 – Shunammite woman honoured the prophet ? divine reward.
• Phil 4:17 – Not that I desire a gift, but fruit may abound to your account.
“You can’t receive deeply from a place you dishonor.”
Ways to show honor:
• Seeds of appreciation
• Supporting their assignment
• Meeting needs God lays on your heart
This isn’t “giving to a person” — it's honoring the grace you feed from.
“You can’t draw from an anointing you dishonor.”
4. Giving to the Poor & Needy
This balances everything. Prosperity without compassion is fraud.
Scripture:
• Proverbs 19:17 – Giving to the poor = lending to God.
• Psalm 41:1–3 – God delivers helpers of the poor in the day of trouble.
• Matthew 25:35–40 – “When you did it to the least of these…”
Being Kingdom-minded includes community impact.
IV. The Covenant Cycle of Prosperity
When you give:
1. You honour God
2. God increases your capacity
3. You become a blessing
4. God entrusts you with more
This is the prosperity cycle that never breaks.
“God gives seed to the sower, not the keeper.”
V. The Evidence of Kingdom Prosperity
A prosperous believer:
• Is not selfish
• Is not stingy
• Is not fearful of lack
• Takes responsibility for the work of God
• Makes impact, not excuses
• Invests in people
• Lives with purpose
VI. Practical Application: What Should We Do as a Church?
1. Build a culture of honor
2. Support church projects without waiting for fundraising drama
3. Adopt a parent or family to help monthly
4. Support your pastor—consistently
5. Give monthly to the less privileged
6. Train your children in generosity
7. Have offerings labelled “Kingdom Seeds” you prayerfully sow
“Prosperity is not an event. It’s a lifestyle.”
