1. Giving God the First Place in Our Financial Stewardship Empowers Us to Flourish in Hard Times
Scriptures: 1 Kings 17:8–15; 2 Corinthians 8:5
One of the fundamental principles of Kingdom wealth is learning to put God first, even when circumstances are difficult.
2. Every Giving Towards Kingdom Advancement Is an Expression of Our Commitment to God.
Luke 7:1–4; Haggai 1:3–13
If we have chosen to belong to a church whose teachings we believe are biblical, should we not seek to understand and practise the spiritual principles taught by God's Word?
However, when the church teaches about supporting the work of the Kingdom through giving, some members immediately withdraw because they have heard people criticize church giving.
We must ask ourselves: Have we examined the Scriptures for ourselves, or are we allowing other people's opinions to determine our obedience?
3. Genuine Commitment to Kingdom Advancement Empowers Believers to Flourish Like the Palm Tree
Scriptures: Psalm 92:12–15; Psalm 37:18–19
Kingdom flourishing is not limited to the amount of money in our bank accounts. It includes spiritual growth, wisdom, peace, integrity, fruitful service, and the ability to remain faithful during challenging seasons.
4. Serving the Interest of God's Kingdom Is a Vital Key to Covenant Wealth
Scriptures: Matthew 6:24–33; Matthew 25:31–40; Haggai 1:5–14
DEMANDS FOR GUARANTEED RETURNS ON OUR SEED SOWN
1. We Must Understand That Our Tithes Do Not Bless God, but They Are Part of Our Worship and Stewardship
Scriptures: Malachi 3:9–11; Proverbs 3:9–10; Matthew 23:23
God is not dependent on human beings to sustain Him. Everything belongs to Him.
Psalm 24:1 declares that the earth and everything in it belong to the Lord.
Therefore, when we give, we are not making God richer. We are acknowledging His ownership, expressing our gratitude, and directing our resources towards purposes that honour Him.

financial giving must be considered alongside the wider responsibilities of a faithful life.
2. We Must Sow Cheerfully
Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 9:7; Malachi 3:15; Joel 1:11–12
Second Corinthians 9:7 A person should give according to what they have decided in their heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver.
One gives because they are afraid of being cursed. The other gives willingly because they understand the importance of supporting the work of God and helping others.
The outward action may look similar, but the motives are different.
3. We Must Understand That Giving to the Poor Is a Blessing
Psalm 41:1–3; Proverbs 28:27
Psalm 41:1 declares a blessing on the person
Psalm 41:1 declares a blessing on the person who considers the poor. Proverbs 28:27 teaches that those who give to the poor will not lack, while those who turn away from the needy face a serious warning.
These Scriptures teach that God cares about how we treat people who are vulnerable.
Disclaimer
1. Giving requires wisdom and discernment. Not everyone who appears poor is necessarily someone you should give money to in every circumstance. Christians should act with compassion while exercising discernment, praying for wisdom, and considering how best to help.
2. Giving is not a formula for instant financial returns. Giving to the poor does not mean your bank account will automatically increase immediately after you give. Biblical blessing should not be reduced to a financial transaction.
