HAVING REST THROUGH THE ALTAR OF PRAYER AND FASTING PT2

- Scriptures makes it clear that fasting and prayers is one of the covenant platforms to have rest. 1kings 5:4, Mk11:24, Matt 17:21 
1kings 5:4 "But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor misfortune."(nkjv)
According to scripture Rest is given by God, how can ther be neither adversary nor misfortune
mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you shall have them."(nkjv)

matthew 17:21 But this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting.(nkjv)

- Prayer and fasting is the main channel through which every kingdom endeavours are channelled.
- in this teaching we shall be focusing on how fasting and prayers directly leads to generation of power with God
- what is power with God
- understand secrets of power with God
- understand the impact of power
- People have different types of power – financial power, political power, and even occultic power
But people who have power with God are very few
- one of the platforms through which we generate power with God is through the altar of fasting and prayers.

WHAT IS POWER WITH GOD

It is the capacity to influence things in the spirit and cause God to move when He needs to move

WHAT ARE THE SECRETS OF POWER WITH GOD?
1. Consecration (Gen. 32:24; 12:1)
There is a company you cannot be comfortable with
There is a dimension of power you cannot see, if your life is crowded with the wrong people

2. Isolation with God (2 Cor. 3:18)
There is season where you isolate yourself with God, when God impregnates you with His power.
Isolation for Reposition

3. Desperation of heart (Matt. 5:6; Ps. 63:1-2)

4. Supplication with a fighting spirit (Gen. 32:24)
There is no force without a fight

5. Determination to stay until results are found (Gen 27: 30-40, Job 14:14)

WHAT IS THE OUTCOME OF POWER WITH GOD?
1. The breaking of evil cycles. Gen 32:24-28

2. The breaking of curses. 1 Chro 4: 9-10

3. The breaking out of limitations. Isa 58:6

4. Breaking forth in power (Gen. 32:28)

5. Breaking into the destiny of royalty (dominion) Ecl 8:4
