TEACHING SERIES: FOLLOWING GODS LEADINGS

Introduction:
As Children of the Most High God, we belong to the high places of life because like begets like (Gen 1:21-27).
But His leading is our highway to our high places – Deut 32:12-13

How, one may ask? When God leads:
- He goes before the led – Jhn 10:4-5, Is 45:1-3 (to clear barriers obstacles etc. )
- He goes with the led - Matt 28:20, Heb 13:5 (to oversee, supervise, encourage, strengthen, standby ,refuge)
- He works with the led– Mk 16:20,1Cor 3:6-8 ( doing what we cannot do on our own)
- He works through the led – Jn 14:10 (making the most of the gifts and abilities He has given us)
- He works for the led – 1Thes 5:24 (completing and perfecting the works of the led)
- He protects the led – Joel 2:7-8, Ex 23:20-23 (ensuring their general wellbeing, completeness and readiness for every good work)
- He renders the enemies helpless before the led – Ps 23:1,Ps23:5

Therefore, our teaching series for the month of September is captioned: FOLLOWING GODS LEADINGS

How God Leads
Christianity is about the kingdom of God
Every kingdom must have good communication and transportation systems
The gifts and manifestations of the Spirit fulfills these roles in the Kingdom of God
When we come into the kingdom we are equipped with these and are expected to make the most of these

God leads through:
Through the Voice of the Spirit
The voice of God can come
audibly,
through inner voice
through prophecy or tongues and interpretation
